Barbell Downsize Policy

Certain piercings have a tendency to swell or need extra room for cleaning during initial healing. For your safety and comfort we will provide you with a barbell that has some extra length on the post . Once your piercing has healed you may find that the barbell post looks or feels too long.

When you purchase a new barbell (post and two balls) at Rings of Desire and have us insert it into a new piercing you can return here after the piercing is healed, and/or the swelling has subsided (minimum of 2 weeks-maximum of 3 months) you must have your receipt along with your copy of the downsize policy, and we will provide you with a shorter replacement post (of the same gauge as your initial jewelry) for $10.00. * (for 14 gauge)

You get to keep the original post. There is no charge for us to help you insert the shorter post.

Out-of-towners may purchase their shorter post at the time of the piercing, if they so desire.

This policy does not apply to balls.

* Cost is $11.00 for 12 gauge, and $12.00 for 10 gauge.
